Details:
Clearwater Construction partnered with Countrywide Group for what was the first of a number of successful design-build developments along Victoria Street, Christchurch.
Utilising the synergy of sister companies, DHC Consulting Ltd for the structural design and D&H Steel Construction Ltd for the structural steel, Clearwater worked to provide cost effective solutions to meet the new seismic design requirements as well as meet the aesthetic standards expected as part of the CBD rebuild.
The building comprises a combination precast concrete, structural steel, in-situ concrete cruciforms and floors for the structure with envelope consisting of a mix of aluminium joinery and curtain wall.
The end product is 3,000m² of premium office space spread across five floors, built over 600m² of retail space, with basement car parking below.
In addition to the base build works Clearwater completed multiple negotiated, integrated fit-outs which included fully coordinated services, glass partitions, floor finishes etc. for tenants; Hamilton Hindin Greene, Ashton Wheelans, Buddle Findlay and Greenwood Roche Chisnall.
